The Case Of Alleged Corruption Of The Fictitious SPPD Of The North Lombok DPRD Has Been Stopped By The Mataram Kejari

The Mataram District Attorney (Kejari) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has stopped handling cases of alleged fictitious official travel orders (SPPD) for members of the North Lombok DPRD in 2021.

"(The fictitious SPPD case) has been stopped," said Mataram Kejari Head Ivan Jaka in Mataram, Monday, February 3, as reported by Antara.

In the report of the alleged misappropriation, the Mataram Kejari previously examined 44 members of the legislature and 7 employees of the council secretary whose names were also listed as recipients of the fictitious SPPD in 2021.

The amount of the SPPD budget that is suspected to be fictitious is quite diverse, ranging from Rp1.8 million to Rp3.9 million.

This issue was also revealed from the findings of the financial examiner's body (BPK). The money was not used for lodging costs. Thus, the findings stated state losses of Rp. 186.57 million.

Meanwhile, the NTB Prosecutor's Office was also noted to have just received a similar report. However, the alleged misappropriation of this SPPD emerged in the 2019-2024 period.

The follow-up to the receipt of the report from the community group, Plt. Special Criminal Assistant to the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Ely Rahmawati, said that his party would first coordinate with the Mataram Kejari to find out the results of the investigation into reports of alleged fraud that emerged in 2021.

Responding to reports submitted to the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Ivan Jaka stated that his party is ready to follow up legally if there is a direction from the Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office.

"If there is (alleged corruption), there is no problem. We are ready to follow up, we are waiting for directions," said Ivan Jaka.
