Support From Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno Welcomes Anggun Concert And Sheila On 7

JAKARTA - Music shows are activities that play a role in encouraging economic and cultural movements. Therefore, Menparekraf RI, Sandiaga Uno appreciated and supported the concert of two big names on the music scene, namely Anggun C. Sasmi and Sheila On 7.

"We are very happy to be able to welcome Mbak Anggun to the House of airs Indonesia," Sandiaga said in the webinar "The Weekly Brief with Sandi Uno" in Jakarta, Monday reported by ANTARA.

On July 28, Anggun, who has Indonesian blood and is known to the world, will hold his single concert entitled "Enshrings Anggun and Friends" in Jakarta.

Together with Flashback Motion promoter and supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Anggun will present a concert that has a different concept than before. With an interesting immersive concept, "Enching Anggung and Friends" will also present a row of musicians as collaborators in it.

"This is one of the special concerts because it not only cooperates with the orchestra from Andi Rianto, but also the concept is more mature," said Anggun.

Sandiaga added, "Mbak Anggun is actually our ambassador, our ambassador for tourism and our creative economy and we are very proud".

The promoter said more than 50 percent of Anggun concert tickets in Jakarta had been ordered by fans from outside Java Island, one of which was Makassar, South Sulawesi. Through the concert, the promoter hopes that fans can be entertained by Anggun's appearance and attract tourist visits to the Jakarta area and its surroundings.

In addition to the Anggun concert, Sandiaga also appreciated the concert tour from Sheila On 7 "Wait for Me Di" which will start next week.

"Five different cities (for the concert) 'Wait for Me Di', this is amazing and the kick-off starts next week in Samarinda," said Sandiaga.

The Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy also highlighted the existence of micro, small and medium-sized culinary businesses at the upcoming Sheila on 7 concerts, which he said could introduce typical culinary delights from local areas and increase tourism promotions and creative economy around concert sites.

Through the concerts that will be held in Indonesia, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy hopes that these activities can have a positive impact on the community, especially positive impacts in the fields of social-culture, economy, and the environment.
