The Stock Of BP AKR To Shell BBM Is Empty, Bahlil: The Ship Has Not Arrived

JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia opened his voice regarding the vacancy in fuel supply at private gas stations such as BP and Shell which have occurred recently.

Bahlil ensured that the delay was caused by technical problems and was not related to licensing issues. Bahlil said that his party had given an import permit to a private fuel provider business entity.

"There is no problem, the import permit has been given. The import permit has been completed, maybe it's technical. Ask them (Private SPBU) because we have finished importing it," Bahlil told the media crew at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Building, Monday, February 3.

Bahlil said the government could only control the supply of fuel from the state-owned enterprise, Pertamina. For this reason, the problem of delays and vacancies in fuel supply that occur at private gas stations is a business affair for the company.

"Maybe what is meant by this is that the ship has not arrived yet, this is just a ship issue," said Bahlil.

Just so you know, this phenomenon of scarcity of fuel oil (BBM) stocks is experienced by the Shell Indonesia gas station and BP-AKR. President Director of PT Aneka Petroindo Raya, Vanda Laura, in her statement, admitted that currently her party is experiencing limited fuel stock for some time to come.

"In connection with stock constraints, for the time being some gas station networks will not be able to serve the sale of fuel products completely," he told the media crew, Friday, January 31.

Meanwhile, President Director & Managing Director of Mobility, Shell Indonesia, Inggrid Siburian said that currently there are several obstacles faced by Shell Indonesia, making it difficult to procure and distribute fuel with this shell logo.

"Shell Indonesia wants to inform you that currently there are obstacles in the procurement and distribution of fuel oil products (BBM)," said Inggid to VOI, Friday, January 31.
