Ministry Of PUPR Tender Three Projects At IKN Worth IDR 5.2 Trillion, What's The Reason?

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) has rescheduled three projects in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN). The value of the three projects is very fantastic, reaching Rp5.22 trillion.

Citing information shared on the electronic procurement service page (LPSE), the three projects that were re-auctioned, firstly the IKN Toll Road Section 1B Segment of Sepinggan-Toll Airport, Balsam with a project value of IDR 3.8 trillion.

In its report, the construction of the Sepinggan-Toll Balsam Airport Toll Road will complement the IKN Access Toll Road network. Whereas previously, this project would enter the announcement of pre-qualification results on June 28, 2024.

"The reason for the re-tender is due to irregularities in the provisions and procedures stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2018 concerning the procurement of government goods/services along with their amendments, derivative rules and provisions that have been stipulated in the election documents," wrote LPSE, quoted Thursday, July 4.

The second project to be re-auctioned is the construction of roads within KIPP in the form of an Improvement of the Construction Worker Residential Area (HPK) with a project value of Rp663 billion. This project auction was declared a failure because an error was found in the election document. Where, the document is considered not to comply with Presidential Regulation Number 16 of 2018.

Third, the construction of buildings and the Satellite Office Area of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) with a project value of Rp706.48 billion.

The auction for the BIN Building project at IKN was declared a failure because there were irregularities in the provisions and procedures as stated in Presidential Decree No. 16 of 2018.

Even so, it was not explained specifically what form of deviation was, causing the three projects to fail to be auctioned. Thus, the total IKN projects that are currently entering the re-auction stage reached IDR 5.22 trillion.
