JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung was elected in response to the public's encouragement to state officials not to use patrol vehicles and escorts (patwals) on the road.

Pramono admitted that during his time as an official, he rarely used a patent to accelerate mobilization on the highway if he was not carrying out official activities.

"I have received an escort for a very long time. I am one of those who rarely use a patent if not official activities," said Pramono at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta, Sunday, February 2.

During his tenure as Cabinet Secretary in the leadership of the 7th President Joko Widodo, Pramono admitted that he did use a patent in his work.
