JAKARTA - A total of 36 heads of families (KK) in Kebunduren Hamlet, Kenongorejo Village, Pilangkenceng District, Madiun Regency, were affected by the flood shipment which was the result of overflowing river water in Bojonegoro, so that it submerged settlements in the area.

According to his observations, the rain has been very heavy since Monday afternoon. Then in the afternoon, the water began to enter the house.

"The water level varies, between the waists of adults up to one meter," said Aksa.

There are even water that inundates into people's homes at a number of points. Several residents survived, but some were evacuated to safer locations.

Although the water has gradually receded, his party has asked residents of Kebunduren Hamlet, Kenongorejo Village, Pilangkenceng District, to be aware of further flooding. This is because the rainfall is still high in the last few days.

One of the local residents of Lasmiati (35) said that the rain was very heavy, suddenly causing river water to overflow on the road and enter a number of houses.

"The local village water overflowed due to flood water from Bojonegoro. The water level is half a meter. At least 4 RTs were affected," said Lasmiati.

Until now, the Madiun Regency BPBD is still alerting a number of personnel at the flood location that is starting to recede. The personnel alerting is to anticipate further flooding, considering that the water discharge in the river is still high.

BPBD mapped the Pilangkenceng sub-district area as a flood-prone area in Madiun Regency. Apart from Pilangkenceng, a number of areas prone to flooding include Balerejo, Madiun, Wungu, Tejayan, and Saradan sub-districts.
