BNN Confiscates IDR 111.535 Billion Of Money Laundering Assets During 2024

Head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Martinus Hukom revealed that his institution confiscated assets in the money laundering case (TPPU) worth IDR 111.535 billion during 2024.

"In breaking the narcotics syndicate chain, BNN managed to uncover 13 money laundering cases involving 15 suspects," Martinus said in a joint working meeting with Commission III of the DPR as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 23.

BNN revealed 653 narcotics criminal cases consisting of 14 national networks and 14 international networks involving 1,041 suspects.

From the disclosure of the case, BNN confiscated a number of narcotics evidence. The six largest were methamphetamine amounting to 721.63 kilograms, marijuana weighing 2.19 tons, 292,748 pills of ecstasy, 2.76 kilograms of heroin, 4.34 kilograms of cocaine, and 971,000 PCC pills.

In addition, BNN destroyed 13.5 hectares of cannabis fields and 35.5 tons of wet cannabis plants.
