JAKARTA - YouTube continues to test its new features regularly. Most recently, YouTube announced it had launched several new experimental features for Premium users.
Those features include high-quality audio, faster playback speed options on mobile phones, and the ability to "jump ahead" on the web to, jump to a more interesting part of the video.
This quality increase in audio will allow users to listen to music videos with higher audio bitrates, up to 256kbps, as already on YouTube Music.
On mobile devices, picture-in-picture allows you to open another app when the video is playing. One new test allows users to play YouTube Shorts in picture-in-picture mode on iOS.
In addition, if you can only choose 2x playback speed at this time, this trial will allow you to watch YouTube at a speed of up to 4x on your phone.
Furthermore, if last year YouTube introduced the Jump Ahead feature on mobile devices, now YouTube brings this feature on the web for Premium users.
This feature allows users to jump to the best part of the video. YouTube's algorithm determines the best part through machine learning and user input.
