JAKARTA Gregoria Mariska Tunjung passed the second round of the Indonesia Masters 2025 towards the quarter-finals to maintain the target of winning.
The bronze medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics fought rubber games 21-13, 15-21, and 21-14 against Lin Hsiang Ti from China Taipei at Istora, Thursday, January 23, 2025.
"I want to be grateful to be able to get through today's match. It's not easy to play in an unsuitable condition," said Gregoria after the match.
Gregoria is Indonesia's fourth representative to secure a ticket in the last eight.
He followed in the footsteps of Jonatan Christie, Febriana Dwi Puji Kusuma/Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi, and Rinov Rivaldy/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati.

In the quarter-finals, Gregoria will face South Korean women's singles, Sim Yu-jin. This is their seventh competitive clash.
