Liga 1 Standings 2024/2025, Persija Paste Persebaya, Persib Threatened At The Top

JAKARTA - The 2024/2025 Liga 1 standings did not change much after Persija Jakarta won over Persita Tangerang 2-0 on Sunday, January 19, 2025. Even so, these results made the Kemayoran Tigers stick to Persebaya in the top row of the standings.

In the 19th week match at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS), Persija Jakarta, won over the visitors through two goals made by Marko Simic (45+1') and Raihan Hanan (69').

The full three points over Persita Tangerang have made the Kemayoran Tigers participate in heating up the competition for the League 1 title this season. Persija now has the same points as Persebaya Surabaya with 37 points.

Even so, Persija still occupies third place because Persebaya leads head-to-head over Persija after winning 2-1 in November 2024. That way Bajul Ijo is more entitled to second place.

The fight for the League 1 title is now getting fiercer because both Persija and Persebaya are only three points behind Persib Bandung, which are at the top of the standings.

Persib failed to move away from Persebaya and Persija's pursuit after losing 0-2 to Dewa United.

On the other hand, there are also a number of teams that have started to monitor and can become disruptors in the top three competitions in the standings. The teams are PSM Makassar, Persik Kediri, and Dewa United.

PSM, Persik, and Dewa United are now ranked fourth to sixth and nine points behind Persib with the same points collection, 31 points.

Meanwhile, the three teams at the lowest position are inhabited by Semen Padang, Madura United, and Persis Solo.
