Genesis Plans To Expand Retail Services In Australia, Promises The Same Offer

JAKARTA - A premium automotive brand from South Korea, Genesis plans to expand its retail sales on the Australian market to attract more customers to see firsthand its product lines.

Previously, the brand only provided limited retail services built independently. Now, Genesis has changed its strategy by expanding the facility and will partner with several agencies.

Despite being run by other parties, the manufacturer guarantees the latest facility will offer the same as "Showcases". Thus, more Australian consumers will have the opportunity to experience buying and feeling Genesis vehicles firsthand.

Australia's head of Genesis Motors, Justin Douglass said it would invest and partner with those with the same value as Genesis.

"We will invest with partners that are aligned with the value of our brand," Douglass was quoted as saying by Drive, Monday, January 3.

Genesis plans to operate one or two locations involving agency partners with the addition of one or two other places by 2026.

The new location is expected to offer the same sales and after-sale experience as other Genesis locations, including fixed prices, free services for up to five years, and offers for "Genesis To You".

The 'Genesis To You' is a shuttle service provider that is intended for Genesis customers if they are within 70 km of driving distance from Genesis outlets at no cost.

Douglass also guarantees that the latest facilities run by agency partners will have the same offerings as services from other Genesis showrooms.

"Under agency partners, we can still apply our one-price model approach and other offers remain the same," Douglass added.

This brand continues to update its existing factory-owned store chain. They have just opened a new Genesis Sydney Showcase, located in North Strathfield, replacing the old Parramatta Test Drive Center.

In addition, Genesis now has 'Showcases' facilities in parts of Australia such as Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth.
