Until The End Of January, Chery Claims To Receive 2,000 SPK For J6 EV

JAKARTA - After officially launching in November 2024, Chery has succeeded in sending a total of 372 units to consumers by the end of the year (December).

This figure is not only a positive achievement that was achieved in a short time, but also clear evidence of Chery's commitment to fulfilling promises of delivery to consumers during its launch at GJAW 2024.

Enthusiasm of Chery J6 continues until early 2025, as reflected in the accumulated Vehicle Ordering Letter (SPK) that has been compiled. As of January 2025, Chery has received more than 2,000 SPKs for J6 EVs.

Head of Brand Department of PT Chery Sales Indonesia, Rifkie Setiawan, expressed his gratitude for the acceptance of the J6 off-road SUV, and it is an honor for Chery.

"We are also proud to announce that in December 2024, Chery managed to record new achievements with sales of more than 1,000 units per month. This is clear evidence of consumer confidence in our products," he said, in an official statement received on Friday, January 31.

He further said that the presence of Chery J6 at the end of 2024 was a sweet cover, as well as affirming the company's commitment to continue to present quality vehicles relevant to the needs of the Indonesian people.

In specifications, this electric car comes in two variant options, for IWD to be able to accelerate 0-100 km/hour for only 6.5 seconds. Combined with a large battery capacity, the Chery J6 EV is able to cover a distance of up to 426 km (RWD) and 418 km (iWD) based on the NEDC standard (New European Driving Cycle).

"With this achievement, Chery created a new phenomenon in the electric car segment with off-road capabilities and the first boxy design from Chery J6 in Indonesia," Rifkie concluded.
