JAKARTA - PT Eurokars Motor Indonesia (EMI) has officially brought the All-New Mazda CX-80 to the country's market by providing a Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) drive option.

This car offers the flexibility embedded in this car, combining a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor that gives a power boost of up to 327 ps and a 500 Nm torque.

Because it uses the PHEV system, it means that this car can run with pure power up to 60 km according to the WLTP of the 17.8 kWh battery.

Not only offering environmentally friendly drivers, Mazda's latest flagship SUV in Indonesia also provides a different comfort to its users by providing a six-seater configuration and Captain Seat on the second row.

PT EMI Chief Operating Officer Ricky Thio said the presence of Captain Seat at CX-80 took inspiration from the previous model CX-8, which incidentally chose users to be driven instead of driving their cars independently.

"We look in the mirror from the CX-8 model, yes, at that time we brought it to Indonesia with Captain Seat and the average customer was accompanied," Ricky said when met by the media in Simprug, Jakarta, Wednesday, January 22.

He explained that this feature can give a different impression of the highest caste while increasing the comfort of its users to be used in their daily lives.

"Cantain seat provides privacy and a feeling authority like taking a business class or high class, now this is what we are trying to offer. What's more, the cabin is wide so that the car is almost 5 meters long, it has a wide leg room," said Ricky.

The SUV is flexibly designed with a third row seat that can be folded to create a flat floor, so that the user of this car can put the cargo for long or daily trips.
