Liga 1 2024/2026: Directly Monitored By Kluivers, Persija Jakarta Failed To Win In Patriot

JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian national team, Patrick Kluivert, witnessed firsthand the 2024/2025 Liga 1 match between Persija Jakarta vs PSBS Biak at Patriot Stadium, Bekasi. At that moment unfortunately the Kemayoran Tigers failed to win from 10 PSBS players and only drew 2-2.

In the match which took place on Sunday, February 2 at 19.00 WIB, Patrick Kluivert appeared to be present with the Indonesian national team coaching team. Sitting in the VVIP stands he was accompanied by Alex Pastoor, Denny Landzaat to the manager of the national team, Sumardji.

At the beginning of the match, the Kemayoran Tigers managed to take the lead through a goal scored by Gustavo Almeida. Gustavo Almeida's header from close range using a pass from the left side of the attack managed to shake John Pigai's goal when the match was running for 20 minutes.

Six minutes later, PSBS could equalize. This situation occurred after the ball led by Julian Velazquez failed to be blocked by Andritany, making the final score 1-1.

After making a slick record for the team, Velazquez actually received a red card eight minutes later. He violated Ryo Matsumura hard and the referee gave him a red card after observing from the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Playing with 10 people, PSBS could even lead 2-1 in the second half. Takuya Matsunaga's hard shot managed to break into Persija's goal even though Andritany had tried to anticipate it.

Persija Rayhan Hannan, who had just entered the second half, managed to make a difference. Just arrived, Rayhan used Ferarri's pass to make the score 2-2.

In the remaining time of the match, Persija are increasingly putting pressure on it. During the second half injury time, Persija could actually score.

However, the 3-2 score was disallowed by the referee, but because Gustavo Almeida was considered to have violated goalkeeper John Pigai during an aerial duel before the goal occurred.
