Gabriel Martinelli Convinced Arsenal Supporters About The Hunt For The Premier League Title

JAKARTA - Gabriel Martinelli said he understood Arsenal's fans' frustration over their inconsistent performances this season.

He promised that the Gunners would fight for the Premier League title until the last and moment.

Arsenal finished second in the last two seasons, losing both chances to Manchester City.

Seeing Pep Guardiola's shaky team this season, Arsenal appear to be in the right position to win their first Premier League title since 2004.

However, Mikel Arteta's side are six points behind leaders Liverpool and have played one game more.

The defensive solidity that was characteristic of previous seasons has disappeared. The combination of injuries and performance has caused the results of their attacks to decline.

The north London team has drawn more (8 times) than they did over the past season.

"I am a fan myself. I know how they feel. Like us, they want to be champions."

"Of course, we players are the first to push ourselves to want to win every game, want to win the Premier League."

"That's football. Sometimes things don't go the way you want. We want to win in the last two years, but that's not the case."

After the injury-hit 2023/2024 season, Martinelli has shown signs of returning to its best form this year.

The Brazil's National Team's goal against Aston Villa earlier this month saw him equal to his Premier League tally last season.

With 15 games remaining in the league, the forward believes the title race is not over yet.

"We have to play our part, try to win the game, stay calm. The Premier League is long and every game is tough."

"When you think it will be easy, it ends up getting complicated. The Premier League is like that."

"Now we have to believe until the last game and moment. Trust in our quality," Martinelli said again.
