Police Arrest Woman Killer At Cianjur Tea Garden

Cianjur Police, West Java arrested the perpetrator of the murder of a woman whose body was found in a tea plantation in Cugenang District.

Kasatreskrim Cianjur Police AKP Tono Listianto said five days later the perpetrator was finally arrested while crossing Jalan Raya Sukaluyu on a motorbike, officers immediately arrested the perpetrator without a fight.

"The perpetrators were immediately brought to the Cianjur Police Station for questioning, previously you found the identity of the perpetrators from a number of witnesses and CCTV footage obtained from a number of locations," he said.

When arrested, the perpetrator with the initials MH admitted to killing the victim and leaving his body at a tea plantation in Sukamulya Village, Cugenang District. This was done alone until the perpetrator finally fled to a number of areas in Cianjur.

During the five days of pursuit, he said, officers had detected the perpetrators in the Cianjur city area and a number of sub-districts in the south, until they were finally detected for a long time in Sukaluyu District, where the perpetrators were arrested without a fight.

"Currently, the perpetrator is still undergoing investigation, including the motive and mode of the perpetrator's killing of the victim, we are still investigating, for complete information, it will be delivered as soon as the inspection process is complete," he said.

The police previously investigated the murder case of Siti Wahyuni (28), a resident of Pasirkuda Subdistrict who was found dead face down at a Gedeh tea plantation in Sukamulya Village, Cugenang District, Sunday (26/1).

The discovery of the body was first reported by local residents who passed by the location, the position of the woman's body wearing black jeans, blue and black t-shirts face down.

The victim's body was immediately taken to the Cianjur Sayang Hospital for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of the death of the victim who was suspected of having been abused before his body was dumped on the edge of the tea garden.
