Investigate Corruption-TPPU Duta Palma Group, AGO Checks BRI Officials Again

The Operational Risk Division of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia is known to have been questioned by investigators on Monday, January 6, 2025.

"Re-examine OT as the Operational Risk Division of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tb," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar to reporters, Thursday, January 23.

However, it was not conveyed about the material or what the investigators studied from the witness. It is only stated that during the process of taking information that took place on Wednesday, January 22, investigators also examined one other witness.

The witness in question is MY, who is a Marketing staff from the Duta Palma Group for the period 2018 to 2023.

Selain itu, Harli juga menyampaikan bila pemeriksaan para saksi itu untuk mendalami perkara TPPU yang telah menetapkan tujuh tersangka korporasi.

"The two witnesses were examined in connection with the investigation of corruption and money laundering cases in the oil palm plantation business carried out by PT Duta Palma Group in Indragiri Hulu Regency," said Harli.

Para korporasi yang telah berstatus tersangka yakni PT Asset Pacific; PT Palma Satu; PT Banyu Bening Utama; PT Panca Agro Lestari; PT Kencana Amal Tani; PT Darmex Plantations; dan PT Seberida Subur.

Sebelumnya, Kejagung juga menetapkan Cheryl Darmadi sebagai tersangka TPPU di rangkaian kasus korupsi tersebut. Cheryl Darmadi merupakan anak dari pengusaha Surya Darmadi yang juga sebagai tersangka pada kasus serupa.

Then, investigators also named two corporations as suspects, namely PT Alfa Ledo and PT Monterado Mas. The determination is of course based on sufficient evidence.
