Check Criteria For CPNS Participants Who Are Sanctioned If Resigning

YOGYAKARTA The national selection committee (Panselnas) has set criteria for CPNS participants who are sanctioned if they resign.

This provision was stipulated since before the selection of candidates for the 2024 state civil apparatus (CASN) starting through the Minister of PANRB Regulation Number 6 of 2024 concerning the Procurement of ASN Employees consisting of Civil Servants and PPPK; ASN Procurement Committee; Procurement Stage; SKD; SKB; Supervision and Reporting.

Referring to PermenPANRB Number 6/2024, participants of prospective civil servants (CPNS) 2024 who are declared to have passed the final stage of the selection and/or have received the CPNS employee identification number (NIP) and then resign, they will receive sanctions.

The sanction is not to apply for ASN revenue for the next 2 years of the ASN Employee procurement budget.

However, this sanction provision is excluded for CPNS 2024 applicants who are declared to have passed the final stage of selection in different locations from the proposed location as a result of optimizing their needs/formation, then resign before being determined the Employee Identification Number (NIP).

This Exclusion Provision has been regulated through the Letter of the State Civil Service Agency (BKN) Number 127/B-MP01.01/SD/D/2025 concerning Additional Explanation of Sanctions for Applicants of ASN Resigned.

Meanwhile, if the applicant who is optimized resigns after being determined by NIP, the applicant will still be subject to sanctions according to PermenPANRB Number 6 of 2024 Article 58 Paragraph (2) concerning sanctions for ASN for the 2024 Fiscal Year who resigned.

"In the event that the applicant who has passed the final stage of the selection and/or has received the identification number of the PNS candidate or PPPK then resigns, the person concerned is subject to a sanction not to apply for ASN acceptance for 2 (two) years of the next ASN Employee procurement budget," reads Article 58 Paragraph (2).

If the resignation process is not in accordance with the above procedures, then applicants are still considered to have passed status with the consequence of not being able to register for the ASN procurement selection for the next fiscal year.
