The Transition Team Asks For The Filling Of The Position Of The Head Of The City Offices To Be Determined In The Pramono-Rano Era

JAKARTA - The transition team Pramono Anung-Rano Karno discussed the definitive position of head of service to mayor in the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government with the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi.

The head of the communication sector for the Pramono-Rano transition team, Chico Hakim, revealed that during the meeting that took place at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, Teguh asked Teguh not to fill the position of his subordinates during the transition period.

The transition team, continued Chico, wanted the appointment of the head of the service to the mayor in Jakarta to be carried out during the Pramono-Rano administration.

"We make sure that later, everything, especially the strategic ones, will be appointed and inaugurated after Mas Pram and Bang Dul are sworn in," said Chico at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, January 16.

Chico assessed that the process of appointing the head of the service which is still filled by the acting (plt) is one of the strategic decisions. So, Pramono-Rano wants to select with his team.

"Obviously, there is a team," said Chico.

Connecting, Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi admitted that he still needed to discuss further the process of appointing echelon II officials such as the head of the service and mayor who had not been filled with the Pramono-Rano transition team.

"It's still being discussed again, yesterday it was conveyed, some things have better communication. God willing, we will discuss it further," said Teguh.

Based on the data collected, there are a number of echelon II positions that have been vacant since a few months ago and are still filled by plt.

Among them are the Head of the Regional Personnel Agency (BPD), the Head of the Water Resources Service (SDA), the Head of the Office of Communication, Information, and Statistics (Diskominfotik), the Head of the Culture Service, the Secretary of the DKI DPRD, the Mayor of East Jakarta, to the Regent of the Thousand Islands.
