PAPUA - The Papua Provincial Government (Pemprov) stated that the Decree (SK) of Candidates for Civil Servants (CPNS) for 35 years old has become the government's authority in three New Autonomous Regions (DOB). Head of Planning and Administrative Empowerment Division of the Papua Regional Personnel Agency, Marijuana Kambuaya, said the Papua Provincial Government had only reached the process of transferring honorary personnel to the three DOBs. "“Meanwhile, the continued process until the printing of the decree is now under the authority of the government in the three DOBs," he said in Jayapura, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, March 13. "For Central Papua Province, as many as 256 people have established technical approvals and are ready to print a decree, then 229 people are proposed for the determination of technical approval and are ready to print a decree, while 29 people for South Papua,” he said. He hopes that the government in the three DOBs can print CPNS decrees if the technical approval has been issued for the first phase, while in the second stage it will be proposed by the three DOB government to the Minister of PANRB for the process of determining the NIP and so on. Previously, hundreds of honorary workers over 35 years of holding demonstrations at the Papua Governor's Office, Wednesday (13/3). They questioned the clarity of the CPNS Decree and the certainty of the distribution time to the three DOBs. Based on data, the number of honorary staff in the K2 category of the Papua Provincial Government has reached 3,450 people. Of this number, there are 2,253 honorary people under 35 years old, while over 35 years old there are 1,070 people.

According to government policy, he said, special honorary workers over the age of 35 are required to serve as DOB if they want to become civil servants.
