Adidas Collaborates With French Designer To Launch Gamis, Welcoming Ramadan

JAKARTA - Adidas, a well-known sports brand in the world, has again shown its innovation by launching unique products. Ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, Adidas collaborated with a French designer Emile Samory to create a functional football robe, specifically designed for sports fans who want to stay comfortable when doing activities on the field or worship.

Through his upload, Emile Samory shared photos of several men's activities using his work robe with a white cap. This all-white robe is decorated with Adidas gold accents that are smooth, prioritizing comfort for both athletic and religious activities. This robe was officially released in February which was sold through the official Adidas application.

"Dear friends. I am very pleased to announce that my collaboration with @adidas will be available on the CONFIRMED addandas app in February 2025," he wrote, quoted by VOI from the Instagram account @emilesamory on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Previously, Emile had announced a collaboration with Adidas in June 2024. Emile admitted that he was very satisfied with the results of his design in collaboration with Adidas.

"Dear friends, I am very happy to present my first collaboration with @adidas," he said.

"We have developed a functional football robe, designed to make you feel comfortable both on the field and on the prayer mat. I am very satisfied with the results of this combination," he continued.

Emile Samory expressed his joy, because he was able to fulfill his dream, namely a special design for Adidas products.

"As a multidisciplinary artist, I am proud to be able to realize this special project and carry out my vision from start to finish. From making a bootsleg football robe, working with Adidas designers, arranging my model, taking pictures of campaigns, to wearing my own products," he said.

He admitted that this collaboration had gone through a long process to produce a comfortable robe. He thanked the team involved in making the robe, especially Adidas.

"I've wanted to create this for years, and we started developing this product one year ago with the amazing team from @adidasfootball," he said.

Previously, Emile had also contributed to the robe jersey design project for well-known football clubs such as Chelsea and PSG, which further confirmed his reputation as a talented designer in the industry.
