The Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education have discussed the implementation of the 2025 School/Madrasah Revitalization Best Result Program (PHTC).

PHTC School Revitalization is a priority program in the context of accelerating 13 Years of Learning and overcoming the problem of equitable access to education. The implementation of school/madrasah revitalization is carried out by the Ministry of Public Works through the State Budget with a target school/madrasah handled based on the proposal and data of the 2025 TA Physical DAK from the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religion. The implementation is in 2 stages, namely stage 1 as many as 1,380 schools/madrasah and stage 2 as many as 10,040 schools/madrasah.

Meanwhile, in general, the education budget in the 2025 State Budget is allocated IDR 724.3 trillion.

This value is channeled through three channels, namely central government expenditure (BPP) of Rp. 297.2 trillion, transfer to the regions (TKD) of Rp. 345.1 trillion, and financing of Rp. 80 trillion.

The education budget channeled through BPP is used for the Smart Indonesia Program (PIP), the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) for Lectures, to non-civil servant professional allowances (TPG) for non-civil servants (non-PNS).

Funds channeled through TKD are used for School Operational Assistance (BOS), PAUD BOS, TPG, to education physical allocation funds (DAK) for revitalizing educational facilities and regional libraries.

Meanwhile, the distribution through financing is used to provide scholarships for Education Fund Management Institutions (LPDP), scholarships for degrees and non-cooperation with related ministries, as well as research funding.
