PKP Minister Maruarar Said The FLPP Mortgage Program Is One Of The Focuses Of The Jaman 3 Million Houses Map

JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait or Ara revealed that the FLPP KPR Program is one of the focuses of the Three Million House Program Roadmap that is being prepared.

"One of them is the focus on the Home Ownership Credit Program with the Housing Financing Liquidity Facility Scheme (KPR FLPP) which is very helpful for the people to own a house. Based on data from BP Tapera, since the Presidency of President Prabowo started at the end of October 2024 to January 5, a total of around 65 thousand units have been running, either already a contract or a 'ready stock'," said Ara in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Friday, January 17.

The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) is preparing a road map as a big work plan in the next five years of the Red and White Cabinet.

Ara said this roadmap is also a strategic step in achieving the target of the Three Million Houses Program per year by involving all stakeholders in the housing sector.

In addition, he will also continue to encourage the determination of the National Strategic Project (PSN) for housing development in urban areas that are integrated with public transportation modes.

"As for the Deputy Minister, I ask to focus on steps to attract foreign investors in house construction," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of PKP Fahri Hamzah said that the Ministry of PKP is also completing the determination of echelon I officials who will lead each work unit that has been stipulated in the Organizational Structure and Laksana through the Ministerial Regulation of PKP No. 1 of 2024.

"Later, after filling the echelon I position, the Ministry of PKP's budget distribution of each work unit will soon be determined, including the determination of the allocation of Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS)," said Fahri.
