Menteri Ara Puji Kementerian BUMN, Dalam 2 Bulan Pemerintahan Prabowo BTN Salurkan KPR 30.000 Unit

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) appreciates the performance of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), which in 2 months the Prabowo administration has succeeded in encouraging the distribution of Home Ownership Loans (KPR) for nearly 30,000 housing units through PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN).

The Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait said he was amazed to see the performance of BUMN, a housing finance specialist, namely BTN, has distributed mortgages for nearly 30 thousand housing units since the administration of President Prabowo Subianto.

"I will tell President Prabowo that the performance of the Ministry of SOEs is very good because it can encourage BTN in the distribution of mortgages. I pray that we all work together to provide housing for the people of Indonesia," said Maruarar on the sidelines of the Mass KPR Akad event at Pondok Taktakan, Serang, Banten, Thursday 12 December.

Maruarar also appreciated BTN's innovation as a BUMN, which was able to distribute mortgages not only for people with permanent income, but also for informal worker groups.

"I appreciate BTN who can provide mortgages, for example, meatball shop owners can get mortgages, even though they don't have salary slips. There are also vegetable stall owners who can get KUR, even disabled workers can also get mortgages," continued Maruarar.

Meanwhile, BTN simultaneously conducts mass contracts in all BTN Branch Offices in Indonesia as part of the commemoration of the 48th BTN Home Ownership Credit (KPR) Anniversary. Carrying the theme KPR Pasti BTN, this activity is one of the concrete steps taken by BTN in supporting the government's efforts to facilitate public access to decent housing financing for the community, especially low-income people (MBR).

On the same occasion, Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Dony Oskaria said that the BUMN's steps with the Ministry of PKP encourage housing programs because this program aims to improve the welfare and future of the Indonesian people.

"The program run by the President is a program that concerns the future, especially Indonesian children. We have a program of Three Million Houses, a Free Lunch program that focuses on the future of Indonesian children and families," said Doni.

Doni added that of course the housing program in Indonesia could run well because of the full support from the Ministry of PKP.

Di tempat yang sama, Direktur Utama BTN Nixon LP Napitupulu menyampaikan dalam 2 bulan pemerintahan Presiden Prabowo, perseroan telah menyalurkan KPR untuk hampir 30 ribu unit rumah.

"Next year, we also have hundreds of thousands of housing stocks to support the Three Million Houses Program," explained Nixon.

Nixon continued that BTN is committed to supporting the government's efforts to encourage economic growth through the housing sector, so that 8% economic growth and 0% poverty can be realized.

"As a mortgage channeling bank since 1976 until now, BTN has distributed KPR of more than 5.2 million units spread nationally, both through subsidized housing financing, non-subsidized housing and sharia housing financing. The ceremonial activity of distributing mortgages today is the first step for all of us, and we hope that this initiation will continue until the housing needs that are feasible for all Indonesian people are met," said Nixon.

Meanwhile, the mass KPR in Serang was attended by 235 prospective debtors, including KPR Subsidies and Non-Subsidized Mortgages, as many as 225 units, while KPR Subsidies and Non-Subsidies through BTN Syariah were 10 units, and People's Business Credit (KUR). Nixon said 72 people or more than 30% of debtors in the mass contract were women, while 81% of them were classified as the millennial segment with the youngest age of 21 years.

"Until now, BTN still has the potential for debtors who have passed the test of approximately 44,000 which is expected to be distributed in early January 2025," said Nixon.
