East Jakarta Metro Police managed to uncover the motive for the murder that killed a carpenter on Jalan Raya Malaka, RT 01/07, Kelapa Dua Wetan Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta.

The victim named Robait Rizki (37) died in the hands of a friend named Edi Hendra Saputra (37) for fighting over a woman who is the wife of the victim Robait.

"They actually knew each other at first, they were friends," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Tuesday, February 4.

Kombes Nicolas confirmed that currently the perpetrator with the initials EHS is already languishing in the Polda Metro Jaya detention cell.

"The suspect was arrested at a station in Bandung. We from Polres and Polsek also chased him to Bandung," he said.

However, the whereabouts of the perpetrators who kept moving often tricked the police officers who were hunting for him. So that the perpetrator was finally arrested by members of the Polda Metro Jaya who also gave chase.

"The suspect moved (when he was fugitive). Now it is being handled by the Regional Police because the police arrested him," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the murder case that killed Robait Rizki (37), a carpenter from Magelang, Central Java in the workshop area, Jalan Raya Malaka, RT 01/07, Kelapa Dua Wetan Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta, was romantic.

The victim was stabbed to death by a sharp weapon by the perpetrator named Edi Hendra Saputra (37) who was a casual daily laborer. The perpetrator is the victim's wife's illicit lover.

Before taking life, the victim and the perpetrator were involved in a commotion. But unfortunately, the victim finally died after being stabbed by a sharp weapon by the perpetrator in the solar plexus, the head of the right top and his hands were cut off by the perpetrator. Furthermore, the victim's body was taken to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.

According to AFF (14) statement, the victim's child and eyewitnesses of the incident said the perpetrator was the girlfriend of the victim's wife.

"Initially the perpetrator as the girlfriend of the victim's wife was playing at the scene," he said in a police statement, Monday, February 3.

Meanwhile, after seeing his wife being visited by his girlfriend, he immediately reprimanded his wife. Suddenly the perpetrator was angry and there was a commotion. The perpetrator immediately pushed the victim to the ground and the perpetrator stabbed the victim.
