Man In South Jakarta Allegedly Beaten By OTK Group Orang Gegara Not Accepting Ditegor

JAKARTA - A man with the initials MRA is suspected of being the victim of a beating by an unknown group of people (OTK) on Jalan Patimura, Selong, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta (Jaksel), Saturday, February 1, at 02.00 WIB.

The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi, said that the cause of the beating was suspected because he did not accept being accused and the perpetrators were affected by alcohol.

"The cause of the reported party did not accept being questioned and (the perpetrators) were affected by alcohol," said Ade Ary in his statement, Sunday, February 2.

Ade Ary explained that the incident began when the victim, who was riding his motorbike, saw the perpetrators walking in two-wheeled vehicles. However, suddenly the perpetrators stopped in the middle of the road.

Then, the victim reprimanded the perpetrators. Because it is considered that the MRA is endangering other motorists.

"Some of the reported parties did not accept it, and after the victim continued his journey, while in Underpass, the victim was hit by a reported person from the back right," he said.

Furthermore, the victim who did not accept it again reprimanded him and asked him to be held accountable for the perpetrator.

"But it was the victim who was beaten (by the perpetrator), checked, slammed by the reported parties," he said.

For this incident, the victim made a police report at the South Jakarta Metro Police. The goal is for further action.

"The case is being handled by the South Jakarta Restro. The perpetrator is still being investigated," he concluded.
