Police Propam Says Gogo Grand Commissioner Adjutant Allegedly Received Money In Prodia Boss's Child Case

The Head of Propam Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Radjo Alriadi Harahap, revealed that the former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Gogo Galesung, was suspected of receiving money related to a case involving the sons of Prodia bosses, Arif Nugroho and Bayu Hartanto.

"There are allegations (AKBP Gogo received money)," said Radjo when confirmed on Sunday, January 2.

Radjo explained that the alleged receipt of the money emerged based on the results of the examination of AKBP Gogo which was carried out in recent times.

"That's in accordance with the results we've got," he added.

Previously, Polda Metro Jaya had placed four police officers in a special placement (patsus) related to the alleged extortion in this case.

The four members are two former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Bintoro and AKBP Gogo Galesung, and two other members, namely the Head of Resmob Satreskrim Polres Metro South Jakarta with the initials Z and the Head of Subunit Resmob Satreskrim Polres Metro South Jakarta with the initials ND.

This case is still in the process of further investigation by the police.
